This is the filament to use for electronic components and appliances as the material is supported by great flame retardancy and low smoke evolution qualities. PEI 9085 filament has been manufactured for high-temperature environments, ensuring that the printed parts can perform and withstand intense conditions. For this reason, you can find PEI 9085 filament being used in automotive and aerospace applications. 3D parts printed with this filament will also be very strong and stiff, and are less likely to corrode thanks to the material’s impressive chemical resistance.
Create exceptional 3D prints at an extruder temperature between 340°C-360°C. Keep your heated bed temperatures ranging from 160°C-190°C. The PEI 9085 filament prints best on a glass print surface and printing must be performed on a 3D printer that has a build chamber with temperatures between 160°C-180°C. For ultimate longevity and high-quality prints, store PEI 9085 filament between 15°C-25°C.
