Ultrafuse’s Pro1 Tough PLA filament is a professional engineering thermoplastic. This filament material is based on PLA filament, with increased mechanical qualities. The Pro1 Tough PLA filament can be printed easily on all FDM/FFF 3D printers and is ideal for creating tools and fixtures.
Experience consistent and reliable 3D printing with Ultrafuse’s Pro1 Tough PLA filament. Due to the excellent layer adhesion of the filament material, objects printed with this material will be very strong and have great mechanical qualities. This is useful for parts that are stressed for long amounts of time such as parts for appliances and machinery. Furthermore, warping and shrinkage have also been highly reduced. For optimal 3D printing, we recommend a 3D printer with a glass bed paired with 3DLAC for proper bed adhesion.
Print fast with meticulous precision and a speed of 40-150 mm/s. The Pro 1 Tough PLA filament prints best at an extruder temperature between 200°C-220°C and a heated bed temperature of 50°C-70°C. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s printing instructions and execute some test prints to determine which settings work for your 3D printer. We advise that you perform your 3D printing in a space with plenty of air circulation and ventilation. For high quality and longevity, store the filament in a dry and cool space.
