Discover BASF Ultrafuse rPET, recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate. The rPET filament is created from recycled PET, more commonly known as the standard plastic that is used today. rPET filament is relatively easy to print, printing easier than ABS filament. Experience the environmentally friendly filament developed for printing strong 3D models.
With the eco-friendly rPET filament from the Ultrafuse line, you can be sure that your filament will have low shrinkage. This will avoid warping and works for printing large 3D objects. The rPET filament also has great chemical resistance, withstanding corrosion and abrasion very well. Use rPET filament to create strong 3D models and parts that are durable.
To successfully 3D print the rPET filament from BASF’s Ultrafuse line, have an extruder temperature of 225°C-245°C with a heated bed temperature of 65°C-85°C. For extra adhesion, it is best to use an adhesive spray or glue. Please store your filament in a cool and dry area no warmer than 25°C. With a dry box, you can store and dry your filament and keep it in the best condition for 3D printing.
