Product description

The colorFabb Copperfill filament is a PLA/PHA-based 3D filament infused with copper particles. This unique filament requires some 3D printing experience and can easily be printed with FDM/FFF 3D printer. Polish and sand your 3D print for the final dazzling copper appearance.

Experience 3D printing with this special metallic filament by colorFabb. Objects printed with Copperfill filament will be 3-4 times heavier than the weight of normal PLA 3D parts. Use this filament to create unique parts like jewelry and stunning prototypes. The material produces high-quality prints without warping and prints as easily as PLA filament.

Print Copperfill filament at an extruder temperature between 190°C-210°C with a heated bed temperature of 50°C-60°C. Using a heated bed is not mandatory. Using blue painter’s tape will ensure proper adhesion when printing without a heated bed. The recommended print speed is 40-100 mm/sec. A hardened steel nozzle or ruby tip nozzle is essential to use when printing Copperfill filament to avoid degradation and wear of your 3D printer’s components. Please store your 3D filament in an airtight bag and in a dark area for maximum longevity.
