Product description
Discover 3D printing with Corkfill filament by colorFabb. This material consists of organic cork flour combined with colorFabb’s original PLA/PHA material. This is a lightweight material with a lovely dark brown color and texture that gives a cork-like finished appearance.
The Corkfill filament shares the same easy and smooth printability that PLA filament provides. The printed Corkfill parts will be significantly lighter than PLA 3D models. Create unique pieces that you would like to have a special cork look, for example, miniatures or even light wearable items. The Corkfill filament allows for many processing options like drilling, polishing, and sanding.
Successfully print colorFabb’s Corkfill filament at an extruder temperature of 210°C-230°C. This material does not require a heated bed, although you can use one set between 50°C-60°C temperatures. It is also advised to print at a 40-60 mm/s print speed but this can be adjusted based on your 3D printer. For the best results, be sure to print on a glass print surface with a nice glue or spray adhesive.
