Explore 3D printing with colorFabb’s Steelfill filament. This is a specially developed filament material blended with metal powder for an extraordinary steel appearance. Create stunning armor and figurines with the Steelfill filament!
Become a 3D printing blacksmith and make special 3D models. This filament material requires some printing experience in comparison to colorFabb’s other easy-to-print filaments. The Steelfill is also an abrasive material and should therefore be printed with a hardened steel nozzle or ruby tip nozzle. The filament also supports diverse post-processing possibilities, like polishing and sanding. In this way, you can achieve several finished looks that will benefit your print.
Create stunning prototypes with a smooth steel finish at an extruder temperature of 190°C
-210°C. This material does not require the use of a heated bed. For a cold bed, colorFabb advises using some painter's tape. If you would like to use a warm bed, keep it between 50°C-60°C. The advised print speed is 40-80 mm/s for the best results.
