The PC filament belongs to Polymaker’s PolyMax impressive material line. The filament has been engineered with Polymakers Nano-reinforcement technology to ensure high-grade mechanical properties and 3D model quality. Due to its impeccable toughness, the PolyMax PC performs so well that its toughness is measured higher in comparison to standard PC filaments.
The PolyMax PC filament can withstand heat up to 110°C. This indicates that the material will work very well in elevated temperatures without altering its form. This is great for demanding environments, where parts will be very durable and not require frequent replacement. Create functional parts or tools with incredible strength with this PC filament.
This particular material is advanced and requires some printing experience. Successfully manufacture industrial-level parts at a nozzle temperature of 250°C-270°C. Keep your heated bed between 90°C-105°C. The recommended printing speed is 30-50 mm/s.
To ensure good adhesion and a spectacular first layer, it is recommended to use a buildtak print surface in combination with a thin layer of Magigoo Pro PC glue stick. For the best results, store your filament in the Polybox Drybox that not only eliminates moisture but also automatically feeds the filament to your machine.
