Discover the PolyTerra PLA filament by Polymaker. This filament material is derived from organic raw materials to create a more environmentally-friendly filament. Print faster and better with the impressive and versatile bioplastic to create 3D models and prototypes!
Experience printing PLA filament like never before. The PolyTerra PLA filament comes with a range of advantages. Printing is smoother and the printed objects come out stronger than regular PLA 3D models. This is owed to the great mechanical properties of the PolyTerra PLA filament. Strength and rigidity are key elements of the material, ensuring that your printed parts are durable. For this reason, the filament can be used for a wider range of applications where standard PLA would have proved to be too brittle. Not only will your 3D models be more sturdy, but the PolyTerra line also provides a nice matte finished look.
The eco-friendly aspect makes this filament material a great choice for those who would like to keep the environment as green as possible. Furthermore, both the packaging is made from recycled materials including the spool itself. Polymaker has promised to plant a tree for every purchased spool!
Successfully print the PolyTerra PLA filament at an extruder temperature range of 190°C to 230°C. Avoid any curling and warping with a heated bed set between 25°C-60°C. We recommended printing this material with a glass surface. For appropriate adhesion, make sure to use blue painter’s tape or BuildTak magnetic sheets. Unlike many filament materials, the PolyTerra PLA is said to have somewhat of a pleasant printing smell. We always advise that you perform your 3D printing in an environment with sufficient air circulation.
