This contributes carbon fiber properties to the material, adding tensile strength and stiffness to printed parts. Create rigid and strong components with PAHT CF15 from the Ultrafuse line. The added carbon fiber ensures that your 3D models and parts will be able to withstand extreme thermal temperatures as well as have the capability to handle chemical loads. This is ideal for automotive parts or objects with complex forms. PAHT CF15 filament is highly compatible with the BVOH filament from the same line. The BVOH filament is the ideal support material for PAHT CF15 and can be used to create intricate bridges and overhangs.
Print PAHT CF15 filament at a nozzle temperature of 260°C-280°C and have your heated bed set at temperatures between 100°C-120°C. Avoid corrosion to your 3D printer’s components and use the appropriate nozzle. This could be a hardened steel nozzle or a ruby tip nozzle. Furthermore, it is recommended to use a glass buildplate or PEI build surface for the best first-layer adhesion. The advised print speed for PAHT CF15 filament is 30-80 mm/sec.
