A SD Card in your printer will allow you to store prints and print them directly from SD. This is more reliable than a USB connection and allows you to power down your computer.
The auto bed leveling feature will probe the buildplate on a few different points. This allows the 3D printer to detect deviations in the buildplate and adjust the print accordingly. This makes is much easier to start a print as you don't have to manually adjust the bed position.
This feature allows your printer to be controlled over a WIFI network. You can execute movements as well as start a print.
This feature allows your printer to be controlled over a Ethernet network. You can execute movements as well as start a print.
This machine has an enclosure to protect the print or product from outside influences.
Bowden printers feed filament through a tube as opposed to Direct Drive systems. This adds important advantages (faster printing) and disadvantages (higher filament retraction settings). You can find more information on Direct Drive and Bowden systems, Click here
Maximum speed for printing moves of the machine, so while extruding filament.
For most entry-level, smaller 3D printers this is a single threaded rod. For bigger machines the Z-axis moves with two rods, while 3D printers with a bed plate that moves in the Z-axis typically have three or four rods to move.
The direction the buildplate moves. Most printers move the build plate in the Y-axis direction. This is a simpler design, but gives problems at greater build height, because the inertia of the mass of the buildplate + 3D print impact the quality of the layers, requiring you to limit the speed. Other printers move in the Z-axis, allowing you to print faster without trading quality of the layer build-up.
Independent Dual Extruders (IDEX) allow you to print two identical objects at the same time. Printer that support this have at least two extruder head that can move independently on one axis. Other printing modes that may be supported are mirrored printing and printing in multiple colors/materials

When it comes to selecting your 3D printer, there are many features to choose from. This will mainly depend on the intent and kind of 3D printing goals that you have in mind. To ensure quality we have the top 3D printer brands to choose from, which provide multiple options for all users. For more inspiration on which 3D printer is for you, have a look at our user’s favorite 3D printers on our popular 3D printers page. Our the NL warehouse is stocked and prepared for your order. On this page, you can find all types of 3D printers for all applications. We have a vast selection of FDM 3D printers which are also referred to as FFF 3D printers. FDM stands for fused deposition modeling and uses additive manufacturing to create a 3D model. This is done by heating thermoplastics, known as 3D filament. The 3D filament is pressed through a heated extruder and then layered into any shape or pattern. FDM 3D printers can create any object or part that you can imagine thanks to the range of different 3D filament materials that can be used. Discover our SLA/resin 3D printers which instead use a liquid called resin to create 3D models. SLA-stereolithography is the earliest form of 3D printing technology. This method of 3D printing uses an ultraviolet laser to harden the liquid resin into 3D models. SLA 3D printing is applauded for its accuracy and ability to produce finely detailed objects. Consider if you would like to take on assembling or building your own 3D printer with our 3D printer kits or do-it-yourself 3D printer kits, we have the kits to get you started!
To get an even better picture of which 3D printer is for you, use the compare feature found underneath every 3D printer. This will allow you to see the selected 3D printers next to each other so that you can easily differentiate between them. You will be able to compare different attributes and properties such as the build size and maximum temperatures for the hot end and heated bed. View the product details for a list of all spares, add-ons, and 3D printer upgrades.
With our 3D printing supplies and tools you can find useful items and parts for every step of the 3D printing process. We have equipment for assembly, storage, lubrication and more!
