The Creality 3D Sermoon D3 3D printer is an industrial grade 3D printer with a myriad of features for reliable and consistent 3D printing. With sturdy metal frame parts in combination with high-grade 60HRC hardness linear shafts the machine has an impressive quality build. The machine has been tested to print continuously for over 720hrs in the Creality lab to ensure the long durability. The CoreXY gantry system allows for high-speeds with ultimate precision.
The Sermoon D3 comes with a high-temperature hot-end that reaches temperatures of 300°C that allow you to print advances materials like Nylon, while the direct-drive extruder system also enables you to print Flexibles. With an Hardened steel nozzle also abrasive materials with Carbon are in reach.
The buildvolume of the Sermoon D3 is a decent 300x250x300mm that fits larger 3D prints that can be printed with a 0.1m accuracy in the Z-axis. The D3 allows you to remote control the machine by PC or Phone over Wifi or Ethernet connection using Creality Print software or the Creality cloud app. 3D prints can be monitored realtime using the camera feed, but it also supports time-lapse filming.
For bed temperature the Sermoon D3 can reach up to 110°C, that with the enclosure provides an atmosphere for printing materials with less warping and layer separations. So materials like ABS and ASA are viable for 3D printing with the Sermoon D3.
Safety features of the Sermoon D3 include a HEPA air filter to protect against possible toxic fumes. Upon opening the door printer will give an alarm and stop operation immediately to protect the operator from moving parts. Finally the 3D printer can recover from power-loss by resuming the 3D print when power is restored.
