The auto bed leveling feature will probe the buildplate on a few different points. This allows the 3D printer to detect deviations in the buildplate and adjust the print accordingly. This makes is much easier to start a print as you don't have to manually adjust the bed position.
This feature allows your printer to be controlled over a WIFI network. You can execute movements as well as start a print.
Detect if you have run out of filament or that the filament is broken.
Snapmaker is a company that started in 2016 as a Kickstarter and has since then become a successful player in the 3D industry. Snapmaker believes that “making will be as easy as taking photos in the coming decades” and has developed a 3D printer that can turn countless ideas into a reality. The 3D printers by Snapmaker are fully metal machines that are delivered unassembled, with a toolbox. Easily switch through three different modules of 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC milling.
The Snapmaker all-in-one 3D printer is an FDM or FFF 3D printer that can print with materials like PLA filament, PETG filament, and ABS filament. These printers offer something very unique; a 3D printer that can also perform CNC milling and laser engraving. The CNC function allows makers to create objects with mills or drills that carve out existing material. With CNC milling you can create unlimited objects such as placement mats, board games, and stamps. The laser engraving function uses a laser beam to mark materials such as plastic and wood producing fine-cut edges. It is highly advised to use a 3-in-1 enclosure that protects you and supports the functions for all 3 modules. Snapmaker continues to develop upgrades and add-ons for even more inventive possibilities. There are add ons in the form of multiple drills, laser tool upgrades, and more.
To determine which Snapmaker 3D printer to buy, use the compare feature to assess the different specifications. This is where you can take different qualities into account such as the autobed leveling features, the build volume, and other attributes that you would like on your 3D printer.
Snapmaker offers a free open-source 3D software called Luban, specially developed for Snapmaker machines. Luban makes it easy to operate the Snapmaker and swiftly transfer between laser engraving, 3D printing, and CNC milling.
