The TMC2209 is a very silent stepper driver that supports serial communication using UART (sometimes called TTL) to monitor and control the stepper driver during operation. Thanks to the lower RDSon the stepper driver generates less heat and supports currents up to 2.8A that can be adjusted using a trimpot. The TMC2209 drivers features CoolStep and StallGuard4, fully optimized for StealthChop2 for the best 3D printing performance..
