The Plated Copper Volcano upgrade kit is the ultimate upgrade for your E3D V6 or Aero hot end. After a swift and easy installation, you can expect to print fast and consistently with standard and high-temperature materials. Attach the copper Volcano nozzle to print large and durable objects in record time!
With this upgrade kit you will be able to print faster and bigger than before. Easily replace your E3D hot end heater block and nozzle for boosted performance. The copper alloy material has a very high thermal conductivity, meaning that the heater block can operate up to 500°C without softening, unlike standard aluminum heater blocks. This makes it the best choice for printing materials that require extreme temperatures like PEEK filament and PEI filament. The nickel-based coating is in place so that filament will not stick to the heater block as silicon socks are no longer applicable when working at such elevated temperatures.
