Next to other famous brands as e3d and Dyze, we are proud to introduce Micro Swiss extruder parts. We now carry many upgrades for different extruders systems, including Creality, MK8, Wanhoa, e3d, etc. So for improved, reliable printing, visit the Micro Swiss category
We now also carry official Antlabs BLT Touch sensors, with optional wiring. Check out our bed leveling section for all products.
Today we're going to explain on how to upgrade your Anet A6 with an Minitronics(32bit) controller.
First of we are going to look at the PDF with how we are going to connect the wires.
Click here to view the PDF
The first thing we notice here is we are going to split up cables to multiple connectors.
This are the cables we are going to split up:
The second thing we should notice is that we are using 2 cs pins to differentiate the traffic going to the LCD and SD card reader.
To fully use this you would need to load up the Minitronics with this firmware: Click here to download the firmware
This is a fully pre-configured firmware wich you can use with the Minitronics and the Anet A6 hardware.
Once you have uploaded the firmware it's time to connect all the wires,
you can connect all the wires according to this datasheet: Click here to open the datasheet.
Once you have done that we can start adding the wires listed in this datasheet: Open the Anet-Minitronics datasheet
Once you have done all the above steps you should be able to turn the printer on and see the display light up and show the boot screen,
If so congratulations you have managed to upgrade your Anet A6 controller to an Minitronics Controller!
If you are still having any issues check your wiring to make sure they are correctly connected.
Aswell you shouldn't forget the 10K resistor between the 5V and the CS of the LCD.
Thanks for reading until the next time!
Today we're showing how you can make your own multi-color filament using this Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3565827
We start by slicing the size wich fits on our printing service,
slice with 0.15 layer height.
Then we can start the print using our first desired color.
Once we hit layer height 0.85 we pause the print and lift the nozzle up.
Then we insert the second color and resume the print. if done correctly you will end up with your own multi-color filament.
We hope you will enjoy this little trick in making nice and cool multi-color prints,
We now carry official Capricorn PTFE tubing! Available per 10cm or in kits including couplings and cutters. Check out the Capricorn section now!
