We now carry official Capricorn PTFE tubing! Available per 10cm or in kits including couplings and cutters. Check out the Capricorn section now!
A long overdue improvement on our website has finally arrived! We decided to retire the filament browser and replace it with a much simpler page. You can now find your favorite filament in just a few simple clicks. Either browse by brand or start with a diameter, and select a material. Pretty straightforward with a much better overview.
If you encounter any issue, please let us know.
today we're going to explain how to upgrade your CR-10S Pro with an E3D V6 Hot end.
Firstly print this E3D v6 Mount: Click here.
Then we can start by unscrewing the metal fan holder.
Then we get access to the place where we can remove the old hot end.
Once you have unscrewed the old hot end you can start the assembly of the E3D V6 hot end, for wich you can follow this guide:Click here.
After you have assembled the new hot end we can start mounting it, for this we need our printed part.
Firstly we will screw in the backplate of our printed part,
we do this upside down so we have more space for our print.
After that you can place in the new E3D V6 hot end and place over the front piece we printed. Screw it tight so you cant turn the E3D V6 hot end.
After that you need to recalibrate the leveling sensor, You can use this guide for that:
Today we are going to explain how to correctly align the CR-10S Pro leveling sensor.
We can start by unscrewing the metal fan holder,
Then we get access to the place where the sensor is attached to the moving head.
Now it's the trick to lower the nozzle on to the bed and loosen the 2 grip screws on the left side of the sensor,
then lower the sensor until 3mm off the bed and fasten the 2 grip screws.
After that we lower the sensitivity of the leveling sensor and we redo the z homing process, redo this until it lowered the nozzle to touch the bed.
If you have done this correctly the leveling sensor will behave way more accurate and you would have to less re-calibrate the leveling!
You're done, enjoy a much smoother leveling process!
We now have 3D printing optimized PLAs available as well as TPU and PA. All products including their datasheet. Check out the pellets section for more information.
