The FormBox packs industrial strength into a small space. Compact and easy to use, the FormBox makes mold-making fast, accessible and affordable. Great for bakery and chocolate mold, industrial design, crafting and education. Just create a 3D print (or any other object), that you want copy. Attach you vacuum cleaner to the form box and the machine will use heat and a vacuum to form cast sheet around the object, creating the mold in seconds. Use the mold to replicate the object in your material of choice.

Easy to use

Time and temperature control give you the freedom to adjust the temperature for the material you’re using.

Objects

Use objects that can handle 160 to 340 degrees Celsius, so PLA is not a good idea generally.  Anything printed in PETG and ABS with decent infill should be able to withstand the temperature long enough.

For Forming

The Mayku FormBox works best with thermoplastic sheets of 0.25 - 1.5mm in thickness. We sell the sheets separately.

For Casting

You can use a variety of materials to create a cast: Concrete, Silicone, Chocolate, Jello, Resin, Ice, Foam, Jesmonite, Plaster.

Heater

The metal can get quite hot, so to keep you safe, so the front and back top edges next to the heater are lined with two silicone strips. Also supportive guide rails on each side of the ceramic heater are added for safety in transit.
