The BASF’s PP GF30 from the Ultrafuse line has been specially developed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The PP GF30 filament is an industrial-grade polypropylene thermoplastic infused with 30% glass fibers. With this filament material, you can create 3D parts with extreme stiffness.
The Ultrafuse PP GF30 filament by BASF is a filament material used in several industries, especially the automotive industry where extreme temperature changes and chemical influences must be kept at bay. With 30% infused glass fibers, this filament material is great for creating sturdy jigs and fixtures with impeccable strength. In case you are thinking of prototyping automotive parts, PP GF30 is the ideal choice. Printed PP GF30 filament parts will also have very good UV resistance and will be able to withstand damage from sunlight, and in turn be very durable for applications where parts must be exposed to sunlight for long periods of time.
Follow the printing instructions provided by BASF for the best 3D printing experience. The filament should be printed at a nozzle temperature of 240°C-260°C. Keep your bed temperature between 20°C-90°C and use the Magigoo Pro 3D gluestick developed for PPGF adhesion. In this case, it is best to print with a nozzle input diameter of 0.6 mm and wider. Successfully print the PP GF30 filament at a print speed of 30-80 mm/sec. Be sure to store this filament in a dry and cool environment in a dry box.
